Nyamekye Stitches
Story of Nyamekye Stitches at Domeabra Basic School
We recently visited Domeabra Basic School, where we noticed that many children attended classes without school uniforms. Most of their parents are peasant farmers or caretakers of cocoa and rubber farms, making it difficult for them to afford uniforms.
After assessing the situation, we identified 67 children in need. With support from friends in our community — including Derek, Lehi, and George — and an additional contribution from Sister Lisa Jensen, who was deeply touched by what she witnessed, she shared the story with her children, and they decided to take action. Although we initially supported 40 students, her children paid for the remaining 27 uniforms needed. We began sewing new school uniforms for them in batches. Inspired further, they also funded 25 additional uniforms for the next school on our list.
The happiness expressed by both the children and their parents was immeasurable. For many, this was their first time owning a proper school uniform.
The Headmaster, Mr. Omari, later invited us to a PTA meeting to publicly express the school’s appreciation. He explained how this support has increased school attendance, boosted students’ confidence, and helped give the school a more unified and organized look.
This experience reminds us that small acts of kindness ripple outward. Together, we are shaping futures — one uniform at a time.

Mansen Fish Store
Story of Sister Esther Akello
Sister Esther Akello is a hardworking widow raising her children alone by selling charcoal. One of her friends referred her to Masen Fish Store for food support. When visited, she was found with little to eat, and her house was dangerously cracked.
Food items were delivered to her family, but that same night, heavy rain caused part of her house to collapse. Deeply moved by her situation, a decision was made not only to provide food but also to repair her home.
Thanks to the generosity of Claudia Jackson, funds were provided for iron sheets and plastering. The repairs were completed, and Sister Esther’s family can now live safely and sleep peacefully, even when it rains.
Her story shows how simple acts of kindness can bring real hope to those in need.

ClothesMark
Story of Sister Rhoda’s New Beginning
This is Sister Rhoda and her family. Not long ago, their home was tragically destroyed by fire. The damage was severe — the walls were left cracked and unstable, making renovation impossible. Even attempts to repair it would eventually collapse. For a long time, her family lived in fear, unsure where they would sleep or how they would start again.
But hope arrived.
A new home began rising right beside the old one, a symbol of fresh beginnings built from ashes and heartbreak. In this difficult time, ClothesMark stepped in to support the family with 35,000 LRD, generously donated by Jana, Laurie, and Jennifer.
As the foundation was laid and the walls took shape, Sister Rhoda stood with tears in her eyes — this time, not from sorrow, but gratitude. She spoke of how this support had wiped away the tears of her children and restored comfort and dignity to their lives.
With a heart full of appreciation, she offered a prayer that God continues to multiply the hands of everyone who helped. Their kindness is not just building a house — it is building faith, security, and hope for a family who almost lost everything.
What once stood as a memory of loss is now transforming into a beautiful, safe home, reminding us that when communities care, miracles are possible.
