Letter to Teacher YB Site
I am one of the Dental Instructor’s at Cascadia Tech Academy and a HOSA Advisor. The Dental Program students and our AMS Program students team up together for HOSA every year. Is this something that our students could do for a fundraiser? It says that the bracelets costs $15 but we’d sell them for $10. Does that mean the $5 is what our HOSA students would put towards their fundraiser? If you could please email us more information so that I can share it with the other HOSA Advisors that would be great. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hi Crystal, thanks for leaving a comment. I’ve reached out to you via email with a reply. I’m sorry the site is a bit confusing! In short, you would sell the bands for $10 each. They only cost $15 on our website which includes shipping and handling. The project is intended to be a service project, not a fundraiser for your club. You can however purchase bands at a discounted rate in advance. This way you keep the difference between the discounted bands and the price you sell them at. The disadvantage to this is that you can’t return any bands you don’t sell. If you run a it as a service project to sponsor a student to go to school, we ship the bands for free. Then you sell them for two weeks. Then whatever you have leftover is returned to us for free. You then simply send the money you raised from the bands you sold. I hope this helps!
Buy a Yuna band to help those in need!
