Why did you run the Yuda Bands service learning project?
I did the Yuda Bands service learning project because I saw it as an opportunity to help kids get an education, and it seemed liked a really cool project to get the whole school to work together for the good. – Annie Le Nguyen (Project Leader at Lincoln Southwest High School)
How do you think the service learning project affected your school?
I think it gave the school a chance to see how we can help others in a simple way. I think that as we continued to promote and share Yuda Bands people realized that it was going to a really good cause and at the same time it was cute and easy. – Annie Le Nguyen (Project Leader at Lincoln Southwest High School)
How do you feel about being part of the solution and providing education?
[hide]It feels good knowing that in the end we were able to send two kids to school and give them a chance to experience what we experience every day. It’s neat to be able to watch a service learning project continue and know that in the end there will be kids that get to go to school for an entire year to learn and experience friendships. – Annie Le Nguyen (Project Leader at Lincoln Southwest High School)
